Messaging Terms

These Messaging Terms apply when a contractor uses RepeatWork to prepare, schedule, send, receive, or automate customer communications.

1. Scope

These terms apply to SMS, MMS, email, marketplace messages, chat, voice calls, voicemail, review requests, reminders, sequences, templates, AI-assisted replies, and related communications sent through or coordinated by RepeatWork. They supplement the Terms of Service.

2. Contractor is the sender

You, not RepeatWork, decide whether a person is contacted, when a communication is sent, what content is sent, and which automated or AI-assisted behavior is enabled. For communications sent through your account, you are the sender, originator, and initiator for legal and compliance purposes. RepeatWork provides software and infrastructure acting at your direction.

Enabling a sequence or automation is your instruction to transmit the approved messages to the selected recipients on the configured schedule. You remain responsible for activity by your authorized users and for reviewing your configuration.

Before sending any communication, you must:

  • determine that the recipient may lawfully be contacted through the selected channel;
  • obtain prior express or prior express written consent when required;
  • provide required disclosures about sender, purpose, frequency, automation, and charges;
  • keep legally sufficient records of consent, source, timestamp, and disclosure text;
  • ensure the number or address belongs to the intended recipient;
  • exclude recipients who opted out, revoked consent, or requested no contact.

A contact record, prior job, inbound lead, marketplace inquiry, or published phone number does not by itself establish consent for automated marketing. You must evaluate the purpose, channel, lead-source rules, and applicable law.

4. Legal and provider compliance

You must comply with applicable requirements, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Telemarketing Sales Rule, CAN-SPAM Act, state telemarketing and privacy laws, do-not-call rules, CTIA guidelines, carrier and aggregator requirements, A2P 10DLC and toll-free verification rules, and the terms of connected lead sources and marketplaces. This list is not exhaustive and RepeatWork does not provide legal advice.

5. Third-party leads and marketplaces

You are responsible for the permitted use of every lead obtained from a marketplace, referral partner, advertising platform, directory, import, or other source. You may not use RepeatWork to avoid platform restrictions or repurpose data for unrelated solicitation.

A reply inside a marketplace remains governed by that marketplace's rules. Moving a conversation to SMS, email, or voice may require separate notice or consent even when the person contacted you first through the marketplace.

6. Content, timing, and frequency

  • Identify your business accurately and do not use misleading sender information.
  • Send only content consistent with the recipient's consent and reasonable expectations.
  • Use permitted hours based on the recipient's local time and the strictest applicable rule.
  • Use reasonable frequency and disclose recurring-message frequency when required.
  • Do not send deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, illegal, or prohibited content.
  • Do not use purchased, scraped, stolen, or unlawfully shared contact lists.

7. Opt-outs and suppression

You must promptly honor every reasonable opt-out or revocation received through any channel. This includes STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, do-not-call, wrong-party, reassigned-number, and plain-language requests to stop.

You may not disable, circumvent, delete, or knowingly override RepeatWork suppression controls. Opt-out evidence may be retained after other customer content is deleted when needed to prevent unlawful re-contact and demonstrate compliance.

8. Automated and AI-assisted messages

When you enable automation or AI, you must:

  • configure approved services, service area, hours, templates, tone, and business rules;
  • define topics or categories requiring human approval;
  • prevent unauthorized pricing, contractual, safety, or scheduling commitments;
  • review activity and take over when a conversation becomes complex or sensitive;
  • pause future messages when a reply, booking, opt-out, or other stop condition occurs;
  • provide AI or automation disclosure when required by law or provider rules.

RepeatWork may provide templates, consent fields, suggested settings, and safety controls. Their availability does not establish that your use is lawful for a particular recipient or jurisdiction.

9. Numbers and campaign registration

You are responsible for business, brand, campaign, number, and sender registration required for your communications. When RepeatWork connects to a contractor-owned communications account, you remain the account owner and authorize RepeatWork to operate the configured messaging resources. You are responsible for provider charges, registration information, and continued eligibility.

10. RepeatWork controls

RepeatWork and its providers may filter, throttle, block, pause, or terminate messages, sequences, numbers, integrations, or accounts when needed to enforce these terms, honor an opt-out, prevent abuse, protect deliverability, respond to provider action, or address legal or security risk. We do not guarantee delivery, timing, caller ID, carrier acceptance, campaign approval, inbox placement, or customer response.

11. Records and cooperation

You must maintain consent, disclosure, recipient, template, campaign, opt-out, and complaint records sufficient to demonstrate compliance. You must promptly cooperate with reasonable provider, carrier, regulator, or RepeatWork investigations concerning communications sent through your account.

12. Questions and reports

Report messaging abuse, incorrect suppression, or compliance concerns to [email protected].
