Data Deletion Instructions
Use these steps to request account deletion, connected-platform disconnection, or deletion of personal and customer data held by RepeatWork.
1. Submit a request
Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request." Send the request from the email associated with the account or record when possible.
Include:
- your name and account email;
- business or contractor name;
- whether you are an account user, customer, lead, or authorized representative;
- the account, integration, customer record, or data you want deleted;
- whether you also want a connected platform disconnected.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary identity documents.
2. Leads and contractor customers
A contractor normally controls lead and customer records stored in its RepeatWork workspace. You may contact that contractor directly. If you contact RepeatWork, identify the contractor and we will route or verify the request and assist the contractor as its service provider. RepeatWork will not disclose whether a record exists until identity and authority are appropriately verified.
3. Verification
We may verify control of the account, email, phone number, connected platform, or business before acting. Authorized-agent requests may require evidence of authority. If information is insufficient, we will explain what is needed. Verification information is used only to process and document the request.
4. What deletion covers
A verified request may cover:
- RepeatWork account profile and authentication access;
- contacts, leads, properties, work records, notes, and source records;
- conversation content, files, screenshots, and imported attachments;
- AI extraction input, output, and review records;
- membership, request, scheduling, and portal content;
- integration tokens and provider-specific records;
- communication history, subject to suppression-record exceptions.
5. Thumbtack disconnection
A connected contractor may revoke RepeatWork from Thumbtack's connected-app controls or request disconnection from RepeatWork. RepeatWork will stop using revoked access and delete provider tokens and API Data as required by Thumbtack's API Terms.
API Data subject to Thumbtack's destruction rule will be destroyed promptly and no later than five business days after RepeatWork stops using the API or receives a qualifying Thumbtack request. Contractor-controlled business records may be retained only where Thumbtack's terms and applicable law permit it. See our Thumbtack Integration Notice.
6. Timing and confirmation
We will acknowledge a request after receipt and target completion within 30 days after successful verification, unless a shorter provider requirement applies or law permits more time. We will confirm completion or explain any data that could not be deleted and why. Provider systems and rolling backups may require additional time to age out, but deleted data will not be restored to active use.
7. Limited retention exceptions
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with tax, accounting, payment, court, regulatory, or other legal obligations;
- complete a transaction or resolve a dispute;
- detect fraud, investigate abuse, and protect account or system security;
- enforce agreements or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- preserve opt-out and suppression evidence needed to prevent re-contact.
Retained information remains limited to the applicable purpose and is not used for unrelated marketing or restored to the active customer workflow.
8. Access and correction
You may request access, correction, portability, restriction, or integration disconnection without requesting full deletion. State the requested action in your email. Additional rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
